Fed-ex guy rang on my door couple of days ago, bringing comps of Chas #2. It's already on the shelves of comic-shops all around USA.

And #4 is already announced.

I'm so screwed.

A promise

More than a month ago I've promised to show new process of doing the pages. Well, guess what - it sucks! At least for me. I did most of the fun part in layout, penciling became tracing, and final result is frustrating because I've lost all the freshness I had at first stage.

Well, the winners are, in fact, Brian K. Vaughan, Pia Guerra and Jose Marzan Jr. This weekend at San Diego Comic-Con "Y - The Last Man" won Eisner Awards for best continuing series and best penciller/ inker team! Congratulations, folks! : )

Oh, the horror !!!

As some of you know, in early '90's I've been working for German publisher on short horror stories, but most of you never really saw those pages. I've never hide the fact that it was a complete hack-job and that 90% of it was awful crap. Some of you might think I'm exaggerating, but here are the facts; I wasn't really skilled at the time, I never did my best working on them (if I had any enthusiasm, it would vanish after first page), we weren't allowed to use lots of blacks, draw blood and spilled entrails and - on top of it all - they would color it like this ...

The rumor was that some nuns in monastery were hired to do the colors. It was never confirmed, but by the looks of it I guess it could be true! >:)

Oldies, again!

I found this portrait of my brother I did exactly twenty years ago. Most bizarre thing is, he looks exactly the same today, 'cept for '80's hairstyle. : )

Also, I ran into this short jam-session I did with Boyo some fifteen years ago. We did panels one after another without penciling or any kind of script.
